Ann Kramer

ANN KRAMER has been a freelance writer for many years, producing non-fiction for children and young people. She has written or contributed to more than 40 books on various topics from history and current affairs to biographies and health. She has also contributed to encyclopaedias and general reference books. She enjoys research and writing and prides herself on responding to challenging requests, helping to develop ideas and delivering good text promptly.

Ann works full-time from home as a writer. In the past she held editorial posts with Dorling Kindersley, Gaia and Diagram International. She was the senior editor on Dorling Kindersley’s best-selling Children’s Illustrated Encyclopedia. She has also written non-fiction for adults, and has worked in adult education and family learning.
