I have been writing for the trade and educational market for twenty years and have produced over 250 titles including non-fiction, fiction and poetry titles, text books (including photocopiables), TV tie-ins such as Walking with Dinosaurs and Blue Planet for BBC Worldwide, and material for CD ROM. Although I write for most ages and all abilities, I specialise in books for reluctant/struggling readers. I also edit existing books to repackage them for less able or younger children.

Non fiction topics covered science, environment, history, arts. I am happy to negotiate on both flat fee and royalty terms.

Other work:
I visit around 50 schools a year introducing children to my books and running writing workshops. I am on the committee of the Society of Authors Educational Writers Group.
