Authors and editors of non-fiction books for children

LIONEL BENDER has written more than 60 children’s illustrated information books on science, natural history, medicine and technology. As the Editorial Partner of a book production team, Bender Richardson White, he has edited more than 800 books on subjects ranging from Religion, History and Dinosaurs to teacher’s notes and photocopiables on French, Information Technology and Maths. He has a science degree, and is a Member of the Society of Authors and Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators. He gives professional talks and workshops in the UK and USA on writing and producing illustrated non-fiction books and getting the most from visiting book fairs. Lionel has recently set up a website with downloadable self-guided walks to London, using his book skills to produce digital products.
