LIONEL
BENDER has
written more than 60 children’s illustrated information books on science,
natural history, medicine and technology. As the Editorial Partner of a book
production team, Bender Richardson White, he has edited more than 700 books on
subjects ranging from Religion, History and Dinosaurs to teacher’s notes and
photocopiables on French, Information Technology and Maths. He has a science
degree; is a Member of the Society of Authors and Society of Children’s Books
Writers and Illustrators; and is a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London
and the Royal Geographical Society. He gives professional talks and workshops in
the UK and USA on writing and producing illustrated non-fiction books and
