Miles Litvinoff

I am an experienced author, writer and editor of books for young people and adults on aid, biodiversity, conservation, current affairs, development education, environmental sustainability, fair trade, human rights, and social issues.

My co-authored 50 Reasons to Buy Fair Trade (Pluto, 2007) was highly praised as ‘the best and most comprehensive guide around to … fair trade’ and ‘wonderfully inspiring and uplifting’, and was adapted as a development education resource. My Young Gaia Atlas of Earthcare (Gaia / Oxfam, 1996) was shortlisted for the Royal Society / Rhône-Poulenc Science Books Junior Prize and won the Society of School Librarians International best book award for science.

I also work as a consultant writer, editor and project manager in the voluntary sector.
