Sarah Levete

Before life as an editor and writer, I set up a networking organization for pub theatres and then worked for an arts division of the British Council. I started editing at Aladdin Books, and subsequently worked as a Senior Editor at

Two-Can and Dorling Kindersley.

Since being freelance, I have written over 60 books on a range of subjects, from mountains to monster trucks.

I am happy to write or edit on any subject and particularly enjoy writing on social and personal issues.  As well as editing children’s books, I have edited many books for adults. I am always interested in new challenges and directions.

Other work:

I teach adult literacy (fully qualified teacher) and have run several ‘Words’ workshops in schools (KS2), and writing workshops for adults wishing to develop writing and literacy skills.
